Adrian Boluarte

Adrian is an arts leader, musician, and educator based in Los Angeles, California. With a career spanning over a decade, Adrian has also worked as a composer, songwriter, guitarist, and audio engineer.

Since 2012, Adrian has been a teaching artist at Nueva Vision Community School, a non-profit organization that aims to empower youth through music education. Over the years, he has taken on key administrative and leadership roles, including program coordinator and manager. He has designed, built, and supervised diverse music programs across multiple cities in the San Fernando valley and Los Angeles area. Adrian has partnered with organizations such as New Economics For Women Family Source Centers in connection with the Los Angeles City Housing & Community Investment Department, Salvation Army, and the Refugee Children Center in order to provide music education to underprivileged communities. He has also worked as a teaching artist with the Youth Development through the Arts for Intervention and Focused Prevention project in partnership with the Los Angeles County Probation Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture.

In 2021, Adrian served as a grant panelist with the California Arts Council, further expanding his commitment to the arts and education. Additionally, he worked as program manager for the Hollywood Youth Orchestra at Harmony Project and is excited to join the Young Musicians Foundation as a teaching artist, where he will continue to share his knowledge and passion for music education.

As an artist and composer, Adrian has provided original music for several media projects that have aired on networks in the US and around the world, including France, Japan, the UK, and Canada. His work is also available on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. Additionally, Adrian spent several years developing leading music technology for sample-based orchestration for composer Guy Moon (known for his work on The Fairly OddParents,The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, and Johnny Test).

Adrian is a proud Latino immigrant of mixed Asian descent, hailing from Lima, Peru. He graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge, where he earned his Bachelor of Music in Media Composition in 2012.
