Andrew Bedows

Andrew Bedows is a composer, pianist, producer, teacher, arranger, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Los Angeles. He grew up in Chicago, starting piano at a younger age and then diving deep into music as he turned 18. He spent his first 2 years out of high school honing his musical crafts in Chicago in a thriving music scene. During that time, he worked on music that has now garnered over 13 million streams across various streaming platforms. As a producer and composer has landed placements on various short films and tv shows, with the most notable being on HBO’s The Chi.

As a teacher, he has taught music production and piano privately and with organizations such as CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP). From 2018-2022 he attended California Institute of the Arts and received a BFA in the Performer/Composer specialization at the Herb Alpert School of Music. While he was there, he studied jazz piano and performance, composition, arrangement, mixing/engineering, salsa, Ghanian music, world percussion, and guitar with his main focus on composition and piano performance. In addition to producing, composing, and writing, he regularly plays shows with artists in Los Angeles and has experience going on the road.
