Julie Cons

Hailing from OC in the city of Santa Ana,CA, Julie Cons is an active professional musician currently developing her career in Mariachi music. At the age of twelve, Julie began playing the violin and quickly fell into the classical genre. Mariachi became a growing interest during high school and she continued to pursue both genres at UC Berkeley, graduating class of 2022. Throughout her college career, Julie spent her time in UC Berkeley’s Symphony Orchestra, Mariachi Luz de Oro de Berkeley, and University Chorus. During her 4 years, Julie privately studied with Dan Flanagan, Concertmaster of the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera.

Double majoring in Music & Molecular Biology, Julie continued her endeavor in the arts and has played for major artists/groups that include Chiquis, Mariachi Las Colibri, Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, and Mariachi Aguilas de Mexico. When she’s not gigging, Julie continues to provide lessons to students of all ages in violin and piano. During her spare time, Julie produces her own music, specifically RnB, and is a hardcore dogmom to Truffles, her cute little Cocker-Spaniel.
