We believe in providing professional development opportunities for our teaching artists to grow as instructors and have the greatest possible impact on our students.

Our Spring professional development (PD) day this year featured Rachel Zooi, PhD PPS/CWA who gave a presentation on how to most effectively address behavioral issues in the classroom. Convened at our newly-opened YMF Center for Music and Creative Technologies, the PD also provided teaching artists with curricular resources, forums for discussion, team-building, and community-building.
