Wondwossen Dikran

Wondwossen Dikran is a well-known film & television creative / production specialist with interests in developing effective ways
to tell unique scripted and unscripted stories. He is currently Head of Development and Production at Falkon Media.
He is a prolific Producer/Writer/Director with over 14 years of experience in film, TV, and digital media, including serving aswas
Head of Production at Disney TV, and Supervising Producer for NBCUniversal.

Wondwossen is co-founder of Activator Pictures (, a multi-platform production company based in Los
Angeles, California, where he focused on new business and original content development at Activator Pictures leveraging his
strong relationships and strategic partnerships within the International Film/TV industry.

Prior to Activator Pictures, Wondwossen wrote and directed the award-winning feature film Journey To Lasta (which you can stream on amazon, itunes and other streaming services). He also directed an MTVU #1 charting music video for innovative hip-hop artist and poet Alejandro Ocana, aka 2Mex. He has also worked on short films that have premiered at various international film festivals.

In 2008, Wondwossen was commissioned by Directors Adam & Rachel Overton to produce a short-documentary titled Full Circle: Coffee Comes Home To Ethiopia for The Ethiopian Government’s Intellectual Property Office. He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA and his company is represented by Abrams Artist’s Agency out of New York.
