Programs For Schools

Since 2018 we have brought tuition-free, uniquely tailored music programs to schools across L.A. County, serving TK-12th grade students. Programming includes classes in music fundamentals, instrumental and vocal music, as well as music technology and production. Our Teaching Artists and curriculum focus on uplifting students through culturally responsive and healing based approaches that incorporate SEL outcomes and VAPA standards, preparing students with skills and experiences that will support them in their future.

General Music

Guided by a framework of benchmark music skills and the Visual and Performing Arts Standards in Music, our approach to Early Childhood and General Music education emphasizes exploration and play through music.

Instrumental & Vocal Music

Instrumental and vocal classes are offered to 4th through 12th-grade students. Instrumental students receive instruction in strings, including guitar, brass, woodwind, and percussion.

Music Technology

Our classes in music technology and media arts not only reinforce the essential concepts of music but also provide the foundational skills that prepare students for participation in the creative economy.
