Darian Cowgill is an audio engineer, producer, mixer, educator, and voice-over artist based in Southern California. He is the co-founder of The Den Recorders and Atrium Music, a music licensing and publishing company that has represented thousands of independent artists and composers since 1998.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Darian has engineered, mixed, and produced over 1,000 projects for independent and major-label artists across rock, pop, and alternative genres. His credits include work with Middle Class Rut, Beware of Darkness, Katastro, Jimmy Gnecco, Jonny Santos (Silent Civilian), Sleeping Giant, and many others.

In broadcast media, Darian has produced and mixed internationally syndicated radio programs and commercial content for global brands including Heineken, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Airtel. He is also an experienced commercial voice-over artist and continues to work in radio production.

An educator, Darian previously taught Critical Listening for Engineers and Advanced Pro Tools at Citrus College and continues to teach audio production at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. He is an AVID Certified Pro Tools Instructor and founder of Darian’s Audio Workshop, where he specializes in advanced audio production and forensic audio.
