Community Music Bridge Workshops
Chicano Batman
These workshops on musicianship and career guidance feature LA’s favorite psych-soul band, and are open to anyone between the ages 14 and 24, experience or series interest in making, recording, and promoting their own music.
YMF, and LA’s own shape-shifting superstars Chicano Batman are excited to offer a series of four live-streamed workshops focusing on musicianship, recording and production skills, and career guidance.
The first workshop is Thursday, August 27th from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, and will continue for 3 consecutive Thursdays.
Hailed by Billboard magazine as “a pitch-perfect voice of the resistance,” Chicano Batman embodies the kinetic spirit of LA. Over the course of four widely acclaimed albums, the band has established an international following and reputation for their genre-defying, wildly-imaginative sound.
Over the course of these workshops we will strengthen and build upon the line of connectivity that binds Chicano Batman back to the youth of communities similar to that of their own.
