Manu Beker
Manu Beker is a singer-songwriter from Mexico City, Mexico. While pursuing his music degree at the California Institute of The Arts, Manu has also worked with Grammy award winning artists both in Mexico and Los Angeles, and gained recognition in Mexico’s music scene after having his debut album featured on the cover of Spotify’s indie kid playlist.
Manu has also been passionate about teaching and working with NGOs from a young age, having been a construction team leader in many of TECHO Mexico’s emergency housing projects, and is currently a Music Mentor for Acoustic Youth’s music therapy program.
In 2022 Manu graduated from CalArts’ undergraduate program and completed his BFA with a focus on Experimental Pop.
