DeAndrea Hargett
DeAndrea Hargett is an experienced vocalist, vocal coach and music teacher. She graduated
from University of North Carolina at Pembroke, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in music,
with a concentration in classical voice, and a minor in studio art. During her undergraduate
career she was the winner of UNC-Pembroke Annual Concerto Competition in 2017. She made
her LA Opera debut as a chorister in the West Coast premier production of OMAR in October 2022.
DeAndrea is grateful to the Young Musicians Foundation team for welcoming her to Los
Angeles. When free time is in her grasp, she loves to go to various places to explore nature,
practice her ukulele and yoga routines.
