
Current participants and alumni of all YMF’s programs through age 26 are eligible to audition for the annual National Debut Concerto Competition. A panel of professional musicians and the Music Director and Conductor of the Debut Orchestra select young musicians to perform a concerto with the Debut Orchestra during the upcoming season. More than 180 renowned musicians have had their earliest solo experience as a winner of this prestigious competition. Awards include a performance opportunity with the Debut Orchestra and honorariums ranging from $500 to $3000.
